• The Ardmore WTP is the largest of Auckland's water treatment plants, at 360MLD, supplying up to approximately 70% of Auckland's water. Addition to my obligations as an operator, my responsibilities included;
• Operate the Distributed Control System to monitor and optimise the Ardmore WTP and Papakura WTP
• Assist with handover of newly commissioned 7 log treatment plant and training of existing staff in plant operation/processes
• Purchasing and receipting of chemical stock and consumables.
• Final review of Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding plant processes.
• Be active on the Duty Controller on-call roster responding to and actioning critical alarms at any hour

• The Waikato WTP is one of the three major water treatment plants that, on average, supply a combined total of greater than 95% of the Auckland region’s water. With a maximum production capacity of 175 million liters.
• Operated various process control systems to monitor and optimise STWKO175, STWKO50, 4 Waiuku satellite WTPs, Pukekohe WTP & Bombay WTP.
• Perform laboratory tests to optimise coagulant dosage, Chlorine Residual, pH, Aluminium and Fluoride levels, among others in various WTP processes.
• Review plant assets among a variety of plant processes to monitor asset condition/performance including optimisation and improve functionality.
• Write and review Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding plant processes such as laboratory tests, instrument cleaning, among others.
• Be active on the on-call roster overlooking, and attending call-outs, at STWKO175, STWKO50, STPUK, STBOM, STCWR, STCWI, STVIC, and STWKU WTPs.
