Julie's Bicycle works with organisations within the creative and cultural sector to help reduce their environmental impact. My role involved working with a diverse range of organisations including theatres, large scale outdoor events & festivals, offices and art galleries. My role predominantly consisted of: - Carbon auditing, sustainability assessment and workshop facilitation, as well as bespoke consultancy on carbon emission reduction & resource efficiency.

Energy & carbon auditing - sustainable technology advice - coordinating internal sustainability programme and marketing.- Providing recommendations to help organisations reduce their environmental impact whilst reducing costs. - Calculating payback periods for all solutions. Advising how organisations could take advantage of financial incentives for the installation of sustainable/renewable energy production. - Advising organisations how to reduce exposure to potential changes in environmental legislation.

Project management. Responsible for primary research and subsequent data analysis. Designed and ran focus-groups. Co-author of academic research paper.

Working with local communities to help create and improve green spaces through practical conservation.

Socio-demographic and economic research, report writing and statistical analysis. Spatial analysis using GIS.
