I'm Luke Anderson, I am currently enrolled in the Kelley school of business and plan on continuing my path into the business world. I've had multiple accounts of experience when it comes to work. I have volunteered as a church usher since I was in 7th grade. Through this experience I learned how to communicate with all groups of people of all ages. I then worked the summer at a golf course, being a groundskeeper. This job was a great experience as it taught me discipline and valuable teamwork experience. I used machinery and tools that I had never touched before, I believe those skills will benefit me in my future. I recently volunteered for a soup kitchen and the Dance Marathon organization. These experiences were amazing and it was great to see a community come together. I was recently Initiated into Lambda Chi Alpha, this fraternity is teaching me values of work and brotherhood that will grow with me in the next 4 years I'm at IU. I hope to continue to grow and build in the business department and I believe this fraternity will give me the connections I need to do that. I want to get more involved and see all sides to IU. I feel this will help build me for my future. In the future I would like to go to the city and get a good internship. An internship will give me good experience to build and grow.
