- Front to back support of cash equity flow for the - Sector, Mid cap, ADR, UK Agency, FX, ETF sales and trading Desks– approximately 45 traders & 120 Sales around the globe..- Daily handling of desk PnL, FX exposure, Corporate Action exposure and control of Wharehoused orders.- Acting as an interface for front office, middle office, IT, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Stock lending, business management, Stock Exchanges & CTB.- On boarding of NBI’s & Brokers flows into the Deutsche Bank trading space, on boarding and testing of new trading flows. MTF’s (Dark & Light) Pools & algorithms.- On shore management and control of out-sourced teams supporting contract matching, reconciliations and client services- Managing transitions near shore and off shore to migrate local functions of the business to new destinations. Several months spent in Birmingham, 6 month’s spent in India (Bangalore & Jaipur). Training of daily roles, creation of MIS packs, Capacity reviews and presentations, knowledge transfer of Risk & Controls, full front to back systems & Flows. - Working closely with CTB teams to create greater STP with in the business through automation of FX business and tighter controls around our on-exchange trading.- Transition management & planning, 5 month assignment in India.

- Supporting cash equity flow for the following desks - Convertible Bond and Prop sales , Sector desks, FTSE mid cap, UK Agency & Investment Trust desks, ETF Desks– approximately 85 traders. Listed derivatives, Strategic Arbitrage, UBS Issued Warrants, EIPT, US & Asian ADR/GDR desk – approximately 50 traders. Combining in a trade volume of 850,000+- Ensuring all executions have fed from direct market interfaces and that book positions are correct - Front to back risk mitigation, focusing on market exposure.- Acting as an interface for front office, middle office, IT and Operations.- Point of contact for various exchanges, i.e. LSE,VirtX and other regulatory bodies- The opening, closing, registration and monitoring of SETTS and SEAQ market making stocks. Manual covering of market quotes when needed.- Trade flow administration FTB liaising with settlements, IT, Finance, Controls through production of MIS reports and reconciling P/L between risk systems.- Creating executions and orders in the systems such as COLT and OASIS to support the desks.- Reconciliation between the trading applications and risk systems.- Trading internal FX’s to cover overnight risk in Asian GDR markets.- Identifying process flow improvements to create automation of manual processes to increase STP.

- Setting up of trading accounts, Equity & Fixed Income.- Setting up of Equity & Fixed Income products.- Liaising with other departments Front and back office on a daily basis- Trading Calendar Maintenance- 5 Months in Frankfurt, Germany transitioning system migrations from London.- Daily system to system reconciliation management.

- Investigation into trade queries- Failed trade reporting.- Pre-matching with clients and Brokers.- Daily liaison with middle office.- Nostro / Depot management.- Daily liaison with DTC.

- Settlements of Gilt’s, Bonds & Equities- Monitoring of full front to back for several client funds.- Settlement of all world wide currencies- Daily liaison with custodians- Extensive use of ETC through manual matching of OASYS Confirmations.

- Settlement of Crest and UK physical products- Euroclear unmatched and alleged report management.- Migration of clients from INS / Talisman to Crest project- Daily contact with brokers and Registrars- Inputting of trading tickets / Blotters into the in house system- Daily trade capture of Equity based orders.
