Listed derivatives, Strategic Arbitrage, UBS Issued Warrants, EIPT, US & Asian ADR/GDR desk – approximately 50 traders. Combining in a trade volume of 850,000+- Ensuring all executions have fed from direct market interfaces and that book positions are correct - Front to back risk mitigation, focusing on market exposure.- Acting as an interface for front office, middle office, IT and Operations.- Point of contact for various exchanges, i.e. LSE,VirtX and other regulatory bodies- The opening, closing, registration and monitoring of SETTS and SEAQ market making stocks. Manual covering of market quotes when needed.- Trade flow administration FTB liaising with settlements, IT, Finance, Controls through production of MIS reports and reconciling P/L between risk systems.- Creating executions and orders in the systems such as COLT and OASIS to support the desks.- Reconciliation between the trading applications and risk systems.- Trading internal FX’s to cover overnight risk in Asian GDR markets.- Identifying process flow improvements to create automation of manual processes to increase STP.
