Initially the purpose of my role upon joining the company was to develop management information systems using Microsoft Excel. During this period I designed several automated solutions for the production of management information such as; Events Planning, Mailstats, QA, Training, Complaints monitoring. I believe I made substantial efficiency gains.Since November 2010 I have assisted in the design and implementation of workflows for the business for further automation. The company is aiming to fully automate the admin process, I have been checking the calculations/workflows and letters work correctly. I have also been involved in numerous discussions with Business as Usual Staff, Project Managers, Systems Developers to look for better solutions. I will often map these processes using Microsoft Visio as well as amending necessary documentation as required.Outside of Profund Classic tesing I have also helped to test solutions to replace it such as Intellipen and oPen, and more recently played a major role in creating test packs for the implementation of a new system working closely with external contractors to insure a smooth transition. I have also been heavily involved in the recording and management of defects assigning relevant priority and ensuring these are recorded correctly on ALM. I am responsible for the monitoring of Faults and Change Requests to ensure that a clear audit is kept, and that communication between Systems and Admin is kept open so that the changes can maintain momentum, as part of my role within Business as Usual.Another part of my job is to prepare documentation for new scheme set-ups and work closely with the Technical Services department, Client Services Managers and I.T. Helpdesk to ensure that new schemes are set up efficiently and correctly.

Following my departure from Bannatyne's I took this role as a stop gap whilst searching for a better opportunity.I assessed student entitlement to Finance, based on a rules engine at the Student Loans Company. This had flexible working hours and allowed me time to study. I left as the role offered at RPMI had significantly more scope for development, as well as an opportunity to broaden my skillset.

I was employed as a Capital Accounts Assistant. I built a Fixed Asset Register from scratch that automatically depreciates itself, as well as calculating intercompany transaction, this involved reconciling the capital accounts as well as finding and itemising invoices. I was involved with acquisition/leasing and disposal of the fixed assets. I also had sole responsibility for the coding and inputting of capital invoices. I also built a spreadsheet to monitor the sale and redemption of gift vouchers, so that the company could analyse tax implications. With sixty plus clubs sending in several different types of vouchers I designed this to be robust to allow for many eventualities, this sheet also self reconciled. I had sole responsibility for this project passed down from the Financial Director.I also assisted with Purchase Ledger/Third Party Voucher adminI took this role as my Dynea contract was temporary and due to run out. I had completed the Asset Register after 3 months well ahead of my original deadline of a year.

I was employed in the role of Finance Assistant; the main responsibility of this role is Credit Control within Accounts Receivable. I ran regular Age Debtors Reports to monitor customers and then chase for payment accordingly. As well as this I also made sure that the company has the correct insurance limits for their outstanding debt, reconcile the cashbooks in both Euros and Sterling, post journals to assist with month end, carry out detailed cash flow forecast, reconcile intercompany balances, as well as several other ad hoc duties. All using the Prism and JD Edwards accounting packages. I played a major role in the implementation of the new nominal ledger system Oracle.

I was employed in a Grade 3 Management Accountant role on a permanent contract. I had mixed duties, these included balance sheet/cashbook/P&L analysis, inter-company transactions, dealing with accruals and prepayments, payroll transfers, income/payroll reconciliation, petty cash management, and other duties as required. I also took sole responsibility for reconciling the bank accounts of Tamaris Healthcare England, the largest company within Four Seasons before my Senior Management Accountant signed them off. During the month of January 2006 Four Seasons changed to the computerised system CODA, which I feel I am now proficient in using. I worked as a member of a small accounting team within which I had my own responsibilities and regular targets. I originally worked at Four Seasons Health Care in November 2004 on a temporary placement with Hays. As I enjoyed my time here previously, I returned as soon as there was work available for me
