After several years of studying and working through various heritage based roles as well as bar work, photography, tourism and banking - I eventually found my way back to education. I volunteered, worked and studied even more to eventually achieve my Primary Education teaching qualification which has guided me so far. From a teaching probation year that landed dramatically in to a global pandemic, through council work and new education-based contracts at a Botanical Garden and landing back into a school again - I have soaked up a wide variety of skills, knowledge and experience ranging from first aid, autism awareness, botanical biology, events management, film production, virtual storytelling, digital learning and finding creative fixes to all manner of technological queries, projects and issues. All of these skills have scaffolded my abilities as an educator, communicator and professional as I always aim to deliver first-class learning and never forgetting to spread joy, enthusiasm and fun along the way.
