With over 35 years of litigation experience, Luke Saites was invited to join McCague Borlack as a partner. His entire career has been focused on insurance defence and personal injury litigation. His practice areas include but are not limited to occupier’s liability, social host liability, commercial liability, municipal liability, products liability, insurance coverage and defence of human rights claims. Luke has successfully represented clients and their interests at all levels of court in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals.Luke is often retained to defend claims where the insurer client takes the position that its insured is not liable and successfully maintains that position through to the conclusion of the claim. On claims where there is exposure, that exposure is accurately identified early on which usually leads to a timely and cost-effective resolution, often immediately following discoveries or at mediation. Because of his expertise, Luke is especially called upon to act on complex claims involving multiple parties.
