My current goal is helping the Healthcare facilities realize a greater financial savings from their biomedical/clinical engineering departments by providing them the expertise that I and my partner consultants have gained during the 30+ years of outsourcing experience in this field.I developed this company after recent discussions with materials managers, COOs, and CNOs. They have shared that if they knew how to bring the Biomed/CE programs back in-house they would but the two things holding them back is the know how and a level of fear. So I now see, my job is to help mitigate the fear and provide the tools and knowledge to help the internalization of the CE/biomed programs be smooth and seamless. We have also developed the software process that allows for annual program assessments that will verify that the Biomed/CE program is and will continue to provide the type of service that meets the needs of the nursing staff while remaining competent during the coming years. By maintaining a review process that is removed from the program the chance of biomed/CE service becoming complacent is minimized if not totally removed.
