Worked with Energy Management team on initiatives to save HEB money by analyzing current lighting and HVACR systems in stores and looking into more energy efficient store lighting and HVACR systems.Used computer program eQUEST to construct an accurate model of a sample store so computer could simulate energy demand and usage of store over a year. Proposed two energy-savings projects, one for a new warehouse where a lighting change out would save HEB over $12K annually and the other for an Exit Sign lighting change out for new construction that would save $1K per store. Completed several rebate projects with electric companies that made HEB around $20-25K per project.
