As a senior operations analyst, I launched a complex incentive program at Lowe's to drive performance among the company's ~20,000 sales specialists that paid out $4M-$7M every month. As the project lead, I was responsible for forecasting future sales, setting personalized sales targets, providing weekly reports to the field, running monthly program updates to HR/Finance/Operations directors, ad-hoc reporting to c-level leadership, scoping program enhancements, vetting rules documents with legal and providing final payout information to compensation. I was also responsible for the Lowe's pipeline plan and incentive. This required forecasting the pipeline generation necessary for each location to hit its install sales targets each week. The incentive also required me to work with third-party service providers to access data on pipeline generation by store associates. I worked with other departments to scope and pilot incentives programs for cashiers and pipeline generators and engaged with the IT/Computing department to audit company-wide reporting and engineer new data systems relevant to my operations work. In this role, I routinely used tools like Alteryx, Excel, PowerBI and DOMO to manage, manipulate and visualize data and used SQL to query and join data from DB2 and Teradata databases.

As a research analyst at FMI, my work supported the consulting and private equity divisions. My tasks included customer perception studies, market assessments, competitive analysis and private equity due diligence. To complete these tasks, I employed primary and secondary research techniques, including qualitative interviewing, survey analysis, market modeling, online research and database analysis.

As a teaching fellow, I was responsible for designing several undergraduate courses, creating a schedule of readings and assignments, facilitating in-class activities and lectures, grading student work, and otherwise managing up to 48 undergraduate students per course. I taught introductory courses as well as advanced courses in Economic Sociology, Urban Sociology, and the Sociology of Education.
