Currently at the Vodafone project I am doing functional testing on new products and features to be implemented. This role has challenged my attention to detail as the analyses I need to complete requires me to pay close attention to the small details in code, text files and excel spreadsheets. In my role at NEXTDC I am required to maintain and monitor the facility systems to ensure that customer’s data racks are always powered, and no connection is lost. If customers require IT work done in their rack, I am responsible for ensuring that the request is efficiently completed. I had a wide variety of responsibilities at Myer as I was just a general team member and constantly worked in different departments. While at the registers I had to ensure that the customer had a pleasant experience and that all cash handled was accurately stored. Behind the scenes while I was working with stock, I had to ensure stock was organised in the back storage so stock takes would be easier and that items out in front of the customers were neat and tidy. During stock takes I had to ensure I was entering the correct number of items and finding any discrepancies and solving as to why they were there. I also worked in the online department in which I had to ensure parcels were packaged correctly and safely sent through Australia post to the customer.
