Current• Responsible for advising AEI leadership on relationships with the institute’s most important audience: policymakers and their staffs• Creates and executes government affairs strategies and campaigns for dozens of internal clients on high-profile, complex public policy issues over varying time horizons• Leads a team of five to promote AEI scholars’ work with federal and state policymakers; develops and executes strategies to grow AEI’s reach and depth of impact by leveraging data, subject matter expertise, and custom outreach tools• Plans and executes tailored donor engagement; manages relationships with key supporters• Monitors key policy and political trends and advises AEI leadership on responsive policy, personnel, and communications strategies
