I oversee all programming and direct service at Aurora Commons, as we seek to live out our mission of cultivating belonging and community to foster health and healing among our neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness.

I lead a team of people to walk alongside, care for, and advocate for neighbors experiencing homelessness on the streets of Seattle. We work to integrate best practices into our team and our organization, including trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, client-centered advocacy, and low-barrier access to services. I help maintain relationships with dozens of partner organizations and individuals around Seattle, helping to ensure that we can best advocate for our community members.

I was the pastor of Queen Anne Christian Church, A vibrant and multi-generational church community in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.

Our Common Ground seeks to be a community of hospitality and collaboration that is open to all, as we journey together with our neighbors experiencing poverty, addiction, and mental illness.

Our Common Table, a community of love and justice in North Everett. We are a new Christian Community seeking to cultivate spaces of welcome for all people where we can explore and practice life in the way of Jesus together, seek holistic justice, and love and celebrate our neighbors and neighborhood.

At HomePDX our mission is to love people face to face. We seek to be a church for those in Portland who live outside, and to foster hope, community, and friendship with people who find themselves in hard times. We do this through a variety of practices, such as shared meals, bringing coffee and supplies to people where they are at, and most importantly, being present on the streets and neighborhoods of downtown Portland.My job duties include, but are not limited to, helping oversee our weekly gatherings, recruiting and overseeing volunteers, fundraising, connecting with local churches to partner with, online communication, and being present downtown as much as possible with our friends who live outside.

I helped take care of an awesome group of kids

I co-managed a large house on the University of Oregon campus that housed 60 college students, as well as served as the center for the college ministry at Eugene Faith Center. My duties included the practical day-to-day functioning of the house, which included buying supplies, keeping up on maintenance, and supervising the students who lived there when it came to house chores and duties. I was also the primary contact person for parents as well as prospective house members, where I was in charge of giving tours of the house as well as interviewing prospective students. Furthermore, my job was pastoral as well, and included being available to the students living there, and living on site myself.
