As a Data Scientist at ENGAGE, I help smart-thinking organisations across all aspects of client delivery, with a particular focus on smart, innovative analytics. I specialise in both exploratory and insight-led analysis, and have a keen interest in predictive analytics and data visualisation.With a background in Mathematics, I’ve been able to develop key skills such as programming, problem-solving and data manipulation over the years. I also have a thorough understanding of statistics and probability, as well as machine learning. With a Masters in Philosophy, I’m able to use my natural critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and communication abilities to understand and solve problems for our clients that they may not have realised themselves.My previous role at ENGAGE as a Research Executive allowed me to build a greater understanding of the industry in terms of employee experience, DE&I, and organisational culture. It also gave me the opportunity to work alongside high-calibre clients across different industries.The biggest thing I enjoy about my role is that I can use a data-driven approach to solve problems for our clients, helping them accelerate performance. Using data to effectively lead a client’s decision-making process really does motivate me in my role, and provides me with a lot of satisfaction. I also love the fact that I’m able to work with big-name companies, and work with clients that have their own unique obstacles. As no two clients are the same, it makes every project exciting and challenging.
