Flux Syndicate (1985) started writing business on 1 January 2023. It was established to give capital providers direct access to the Acrisure distribution network – vertically integrating the value chain and providing a better return on capital long-term. To date there has been no single entry point for investors to participate in this unique and highly sought after portfolio and Flux seeks to provide that conduit.As Chief Operating Officer I have responsibility for all functional areas other than underwriting.

- Leads European Operation’s (EO) Risk function and has oversight of Asia’s Risk function. - Extensive cross-functional experience. Director in PwC's actuarial team focusing on general insurance- Risk management: Assisted numerous companies in setting and embedding their risk management frameworks. This included risk appetites, risk management information, ORSAs and stress and scenario testing. Seconded to Aviva Europe as non-life Risk Director to embed a new risk management framework and the use of economic capital across all continental European operations.- Capital Modelling: Led a number of model validation and standard formula reviews. Led a team of 30 to provide the independent model validation for Aviva’s UK General Insurance company. Following our work Aviva received model approval from the PRA.- Reserving: Led the acturaial audits of AIG, XL Catlin and Ascot and PwC's actuarial relationships with these clients
