I worked at Wetherspoons as a part-time job alongside my degree to increase culinary proficiencies and financial stability. Being in a compact area with large amounts of people has provided me with more concentration skills to work under pressure and independence to get individual tasks done. This employment has also improved my teamwork and communication skills to complete tasks more efficiently.

Full-time employment that helped me build skills in all different areas, including logistics, customer care, visual merchandising, stock rotation and distribution, first aid training and fire training. Whilst employed here; I worked with a range of different services within the store as well as external companies that dealt with deliveries and maintenance. This job helped develop my confidence in working individually and as a team to complete a task, I also helped to train new staff as they were hired, so my leadership skills were tested, and they were improved vastly, as proven by constant praise from my superiors and promotional offers to a higher level in the team.
