Stood in the 2024 UK General Election as the candidate for the Labour Party in the Parliamentary Constituency of South Cambridgeshire.

- Participated as the “Lead Technical Intern” in a group of three technical students and one design student to develop a software solution from ideation to release for a highly respected client.- Strong emphasis on social media scraping, processing, and analysis using the AI tool IBM Watson and the IBM database tool known as Cloudant.- Coding primarily in JavaScript and the front-end application framework AngularJS, with the backend written in NodeJS.- Visiting our client on-site, providing professional feedback on the project as well as adapting our requirements for the software. Included creating the roadmap for our project, ensuring we always knew the path our product was taking. Often client changes proposed could be drastic, but my leadership and competence ensured the delivery of the software without issues.- Weekly “playback” presentations to other teams in the internship, as well as industry professionals and other IBM employees to highlight the progress we’d make each week.

Worked at the Gromit Unleashed Shop for the Grand Appeal, a Bristol based charity established in 1995 to raise money for the Bristol Children’s Hospital. The Grand Appeal fundraises for life-saving equipment and ground-breaking medical facilities, as well as providing accommodation and support for families and patients, and have currently raised over £50 Million to support sick children and their families in the Bristol Children’s Hospital.- Provided excellent customer service to individuals in the store, as well as client-facing work regarding the intricacies of the charity.- Developed organisation skills through prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a structured approach with the general upkeep of the store and charity. - Had the fantastic privilege of working for a charity and organisation that raises money for a hospital that treats over 100,000 patients with life-threatening illnesses every year.
