Is your team in need of a self-sufficient mechanical engineer who is capable of efficient communication with vendors? Do you want someone who can take pressure off of the manager position and assist with running projects and helping others on the team? Product design and manufacturing has always been a passion of mine. I’m a self-driven mechanical engineer that enjoys learning about and using as many manufacturing processes as possible. I have experience in plastics both thermoforming and injection molding. As well as a bit of knowledge in plastic extrusion and perforation. Other fields I have used heavily are sheet metal, CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting and Die cutting. Often in product creation we had to make and alter designs in restricted fields that comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 16949.Known for communication and wearing multiple hats in the industry such as Project Management, Packaging, Quality Assessment, and Process Engineering . Professional feedback I have received is the ability to gather information from all personnel and ensure all voices are heard and acknowledged in the workplace.Graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering and Technical Management. I was instantly pulled into mechanical engineering and product design. As far back as 2010 I was one of three students who set up the current Product design class using SolidWorks in my High school. I have been using SolidWorks from 2008 to present. I have used many of the SolidWorks add-ons and programs as well. Notably Surface Modeling, Flow Analysis, Force Analysis, Mold Design, Sheet Metal, EPDM.My career goal is to work in an Engineering Manager position. I have experienced both ends of the spectrum when it comes to Engineering Managers. I have always done well in a position of leadership and helping others on their journey in whatever they are trying to accomplish. In my opinion there is no better success than being responsible for molding and shaping others and helping them with their careers. Many coworkers and colleagues have commented that I would be great in a Managers position.
