CC&L is a privately owned asset management firm which offers a variety of different asset classes for its clients to invest in. I personally operated within the equity trade support team.Within the team, I facilitated the lifecycle of trades from the point of execution to completion. This involved settling trade disputes with brokers and custodians, updating system software’s to reflect changes in government regulations, and ensuring SWIFTs were sent out with correct information to abide by their markets’ deadlines.I collaborated with clients to meet their investment requirements. Including the opening of high priority markets, the onboarding of new brokers to broaden their range of investment capabilities, and working overtime on weekends to ensure the timely settlement of important trades.During my time at CC&L I gained the trust and confidence of managers which led to me spearheading projects within the team. I onboarded a new account for one of our clients which had minimal room for error, I underwent system stress testing and software updating when government regulations changed, and I spent six months leading the daily SWAPs processes.

I operated across the four propositions that SRM provide consultancy services to: Commercial, Customer, Data and Organisational. I provided in-depth analysis of potential economies/sectors that SRM could expand into. This involved collating information on possible barriers of entry and exit, evaluating impactful macroeconomic factors and investigating competitors.I was also tasked with developing a potential client base for company growth and I was trusted with developing interpersonal relationships with potential customers.Whilst shadowing I helped with system analysis and review of customer surveys.

Insight Now provides solutions, services and consultancy with respect to Customer Experience (CX), Employee Engagement (EE) and covering all aspects of Experience Management. I am involved in system and user acceptance testing; customer feedback analysis and bug fixing.I provide an independent, thorough review of software functionality – finding bugs that the DevOps Team has missed. The job extended my experience of working as a team under stressful environments. It also developed my confidence to voice concerns regarding procedures.

I worked at Tesco Express in Wendover until I needed to devote more time to my A level studies. The job demonstrated the value of my time keeping and productivity skills and enhanced my ability to liaise successfully with customers to ensure they have a positive, enjoyable experience in store.
