My name is Luke Wagner and I am a Master's Student at MIT studying Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Computer Systems and Security. I graduated from MIT in 2024 with my Bachelor's in Computer Science. I have skills in programming and data analytics. In the past, I have done a few freelance projects designing and developing programs using web-scraping and APIs to display live NFL scores, gather the current price of Bitcoin, and provide the local weather forecast. In January 2022, I joined the MIT Sports Lab and have worked on a variety of projects dealing with data analytics and machine learning. Through my work with the Sports Lab, I was named the MIT Ambassador to the San Antonio Spurs. I am also one of the team captains for the MIT Men's Varsity Basketball team and a webmaster for the Tech Catholic Community at MIT. In the Summers of 2023 and 2024, I was a Software Engineer at Dell technologies. I worked on creating a virtual infrastructure system that revolutionizes the development of ObjectScale, a software defined storage system, while saving the company millions of dollars in hardware setups. Additionally, I helped to revamp the testing infrastructure of the data reduction algorithms of the PowerStore products.
