Computer Support Specialist
Current• Offer daily systems support to all employees including assisting with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.• Set up computer workstations (desktops and laptops) for employees.• Respond promptly and professionally with excellent customer service to all direct, email and telephone support requests.• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with desktops and laptops including network connections, blue screens and other hardware/software problems.• Comply with vendor specific maintenance procedures and configurations, installations, and best practices. • Create and maintain support documentation for common issues. • Manage hardware inventory, handle receivables, asset management and inventory tracking. Report stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary.• Keep laptop tracking spreadsheet and asset inventory tracking up to date with asset tag numbers and equipment information.• Manage the product lifecycle including retiring and recycling equipment.• Ensure the Computer Support Specialist Handbook is always up to date.• Perform inventory audits• Review Microsoft SharePoint information/ITWeb for any policy changes, process updates and related news on a monthly basis.• Reconcile monthly expenses with credit card statement
