Trustee for Bath Mind which is the regional arm of the national charity, Mind. Bath Mind provides mental health care, increases awareness and provides education on mental health in the Bath and North East Somerset area. Aside from fulfilling the responsibilities of a trustee such as adaptively strategising, driving the charity forward and ensuring legal conformity - I hope as a young trustee I can help Bath Mind connect with the student and younger population in Bath as mental health issues become increasingly pervasive amongst this particular demographic.

As Alumni Relations Coordinator, I was responsible for managing all alumni and external organisation enquiries and updating alumni information. The role extended to conducting detailed research into prospective donors and performing thorough database queries.

The very successful University of Bath Development team has fundraised over £67 million in the last 8 years. As Stewardship Assistant I help maintain integral corporate and individual donor relationships, mainly through forming and distributing end of year reports and organising formal drink receptions. In addition to this is my responsibility in providing general administrative assistance to the Stewardship team.

Our client was an international charity with the aim of providing students from low-income, untraditional backgrounds the support and guidance required to enable them to attain higher education in the worlds top universities. There were three deliverables to the project: target audience analysis, social media analysis and development of a value proposition for the organisation.We successfully delivered on all objectives and made further recommendations for an improved social media strategy in line with the client's value proposition. The client was very happy with the outcomes we provided as well as the level of service they received. I undertook this project, and my work with 180 Degrees Consulting, on a voluntary basis alongside my studies in first year. The project taught me a great deal about professionalism, creative thinking and presenting. Working to strict deadlines, alongside my studies and position as treasurer of the volunteering group V Team (of which I committed over 200 hours of my time to in this year) was integral for developing time management skills.

Aylesbury Grammar School is a prestigious boys grammar school in Buckinghamshire. This role, undertaken in my gap year, provided a fantastic opportunity to develop organisational, communication and interpersonal skills whilst gaining an invaluable experience of working life. The role included regular delivery of PE lessons and coaching a variety of different sports. My responsibly for the safety and well-being of the students also extended into extra-curriculum clubs, sporting away fixtures and international school trips. Another key component of the role involved administration tasks for the PE and games department; booking coach travel, arranging fixtures and organising departmental data. I was also responsible for the organisation and planning of the schools year seven sports camp involving 140 new students.

Goggles Swim School provide private swimming lessons to children aged 4 to 12 years old. As an ASA Level Two qualified swimming instructor I delivered fun and progressive swimming lessons on a one to one and small group basis. The role entailed regular lesson planning, assessment (following established ASA guidelines) and regular feedback to parents.
