My daily duties mostly consisted of:• Providing over the phone and remote support for software issues with Xerox printers & solutions• Assisting on-site engineers/analysts with issues that range from installing a driver to assisting a machine install• Interacting with customers via phone, email, remote tools or site visits• Promoting the use of remote tools such as WebEx and LogMeIn to my team• Producing and delivering training material for apprentices• Keeping customers logs up to date• Sharing knowledge with others members of the Xerox community (Internal Web board, knowledge bases)• Running software installs using remote technology• Remotely configuring customers networks and troubleshooting network problems that customers have with their Xerox equipment and suggesting fixes for non-Xerox related issues• Using and configuring virtual environments (VMWare) to test customer problems Show less
