I am a motivated, responsible and adaptive worker who has experience working in both local governance and the creative arts industry. Having graduated with a BA with honours in Photography from the University of Central Lancashire, I decided to follow my ambitions of being involved with Local Authority, building on many years of experience working with various organisations such as Worcestershire Children's First.I am currently employed by Worcestershire County Council as an Associate Public Health Practitioner whilst concurrently being enrolled at Coventry University studying a BSc in Public Health. This career change has allowed me to utilise my skills in order to engage with people and communities in order to address health inequalities. Upon graduating, I will be eligible to become a registered Public Health Practitioner.I am also a proud advocate of care leavers, having grown up in the care system myself, and have gone on to have work published detailing what we can do to improve the care system.
