 Developed, tested, and formally produced several standard operating procedures for several precision cleaning techniques and applied these techniques to ensure minimal contamination of samples. Completed and presented an independent research project producing complete requirements and viable fabricators for the CSA’s OSIRIS-REx glovebox. Independently designed and conducted a study to investigate and analyze degradation of various materials caused by the rigorous cleaning protocols in use to prevent contamination of samples. Aided in the creation of a variety of specific requirements used to design the CSA’s facility. Developed the standard operating procedure for the use of the CSA’s scanning electron microscope (with EDS) based on personal operation experience. Performed a variety of tasks within a class 1000 clean room.

 Synthesized various prototype additives and fillers for experiments in several polymer-based materials Responsible for chemical analysis of prototype. materials using FTIR spectroscopy, microscope imaging, Ninhydrin testing, solubility tests, distilled precipitate analysis, flame testing, pH testing, thermal analysis, recrystallization. Responsible for design of further prototype synthesis experiments with data obtained from analysis. Assisted in the mechanical testing of prototype materials to ASTM standards using flame retardancy, heat-deflection temperature, flexural modulus, tensile testing and dart impact testing. Created and presented various technical presentations of experimental data, analysis and conclusions.

 Supervised pool operation and lifeguards and swim/lifesaving instructors on shift. Led prevention of and response to injuries, emergencies, and facility incidents (i.e., power failure).

 Responsible for screening patients and visitors, maintaining safety protocols and public relations. Served as middleman between patients and their visitors, delivering packages, messages and locating patients.
