About Luke Wiens
Luke has an extensive background with network administration, business, marketing, and logistics. He began his pursuit of computer science in 2000 with efforts toward a degree in computer programming. In 2002 he redirected his focus toward family business aiding in the opening of two successful Sacramento area restaurants (Lucca, Sacramento; Ristorante Piatti, Roseville). After a move to Colorado to focus on Ironman training, Luke refocused his efforts toward business skills while attending UOP for a Bachelors in Business Administration. Luke then moved back to California to assist in the opening of yet another family business (Wiens Cellars) as Production Manager and Network Administrator in the fast-paced Temecula winery scene. To expand his skillsets from the family business world, Luke accepted a position with the growing Enartis USA as an Operations Manager overseeing customer service and logistics staff while instituting new organization systems and fortifying compliance. Luke then moved back to the Sacramento area and further expanded his knowledge base as a Production Manager in the construction industry directing crews and logistics for playground installations across the western US. In recent years Luke has moved into a roll with Artificial Turf Supply as Operations Manager and now Director of Operations, overseeing logistics on a national scale while working with many 3PL locations for order fulfillment, carrier direction, and warehouse management. Luke has developed a diverse background in many areas of business and has proven to be a great asset in logistics, management, and business development.
