•Working alongside the Iceland refit team to launch a new Iceland department within The Range, from completing the initial skim to merchandising it to the highest standard for launch day.•Flo Chart and weekly checklist implementation and validation, inclusive of:•Weekly price changes.•Planning and implementing cycle changes accurately and on time.•Bread ordering.•Data alert management.•Ensuring product recall compliance.•Monika refrigeration system understanding.•Liaising with freezer engineers to repair faulty cabinets.•Delivery and overstock replenishment with an emphasis on presentation and effective stock rotation. •Waste management.The Range specific duties:• Managing the ground floor operation at The Range.• Stock replenishment, merchandising standards and recovery control.• Key holder responsibility.• Duty management responsibilities:-Visitor and contractor control.-Queue control.-Daily workload planning and organizing.-Team briefs.•HR responsibilities:-Return to work meetings.-Disciplinary meetings. -Coaching and guidance through effective reviews and training.•Analysing sales departmental reports to identify trends and opportunities to sell more.

•As with deputy role below, additionally:•Controlling the scheduling of teams by effectively forecasting against wage budget and predicted footfall.•Engaging team with business objectives to achieve desired results.•Trading the store commercially to grow sales.•Cost control and Audit responsibility.•Colleague behavioural and knowledge development to drive sales forward through service and technology in store.•In depth report analysis through PowerBi to identify areas of opportunity and success with the team to continually challenge and motivate towards desired results.

•Creating, trialling and setting into place policies and procedures that will be used across the rest of the company and for future store set-ups.•Booking in and cross docking FMCGs, whilst maintaining manifest checking procedures.•Ensuring the correct health and safety regulations and procedures are in place and adherence.•Preparing new FMCGs and existing stock for distribution to four stores and arranging cost effective transportation.•Liaising with company directors, buyers, head office, suppliers, hauliers and stores to maintain company supply chain.•Managing warehouse delivery schedules by communicating with suppliers.•All aspects of retail stock control required in a warehouse environment including stock takes.•Managing and developing ten members of staff.
