An aim is to harness digital technologies to improve services, use resources more efficiently and respect our environment. Much of what we do entails trialling and testing new approaches to services which can then be scaled up and scaled out throughout our city region. Within Smart Dublin I work to develop a dynamic yet methodical project management approach, which is respectful toward data privacy and ethics. Another core focus of my work is on developing and promoting Smart Dublin's open data portal and regional data strategy. Dublinked: our open data portal, seeks to nurture a positive data ecosystem, support knowledge sharing, education and engagement, and increase data availability for innovation, research and new services.
