In addition to multiple health plan and HCIT acquisitions, Luke led many of the transactions that became the platforms for Humana’s value-based primary care delivery/clinics, chronic care management, and home solutions businesses and also led early investments in multiple risk-bearing primary care organizations that have subsequently emerged as industry leaders in that space. Luke has executed over $7.5B of mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, private placements, and venture capital investments, with responsibility for the full deal life cycle from origination to post-close portfolio management, integration planning, and oversight. He spent his early career in the financial services and telecom/information technology industries. Luke holds a B.S. with honors from New York University and an MBA with honors from Columbia University.
