He works directly with management teams and investors across the maturity spectrum. Prior to MTS, he worked as an independent advisor and before that spent ten years at Humana Inc. in senior leadership roles across Corporate Development/M&A, Corporate Finance, and Strategy. In addition to multiple health plan and HCIT acquisitions, Luke led many of the transactions that became the platforms for Humana’s value-based primary care delivery/clinics, chronic care management, and home solutions businesses and also led early investments in multiple risk-bearing primary care organizations that have subsequently emerged as industry leaders in that space. Luke has executed over $7.5B of mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, private placements, and venture capital investments, with responsibility for the full deal life cycle from origination to post-close portfolio management, integration planning, and oversight. He spent his early career in the financial services and telecom/information technology industries. Luke holds a B.S. with honors from New York University and an MBA with honors from Columbia University.
