• Provide leadership and direction for a team of Broadcast/IT Engineers supporting technical infrastructure in 13 production control rooms, 10 studios, and various supporting technical areas for Sports, Entertainment, and News live programming (TNT, TBS, CNN, HLN, and other Warner Bros. Discovery networks/digital platforms).• Manage and delegate the resolution of incidents and completion of tasks; utilize IT service management tools for tracking, communication, and metrics.• Provide coaching and one-on-one mentoring to members of the team; provide the tools necessary for career and personal growth. Ensure the resources and knowledge are available to the team to properly support proprietary broadcast systems and general IT systems.• Develop long-range capital budget plans to ensure aged equipment follows an appropriate retirement and replacement timeline; ensure capital budget accounts for technical infrastructure supporting new business initiatives and incorporates technology supporting the company’s transition to SMPTE 2110 IP video distribution and public/private cloud deployments.• Provide leadership during the planning and execution of large-scale projects such as the Atlanta Consolidation Project which moves CNN Center and consolidates Atlanta production facilities onto a single campus.
