After working incredibly hard, I was able to secure my promotion to Senior Digital Design. This title increased my remit of work to not only design, but now in the creation of brands themselves. I now work closely with Art Directors and Creative Directors to develop brands for the digital space (infinite as we know).I am also taking a lead in introducing the principals and working practises of UX, a key notch on any designers’ belt. The reason for this push was to bring a wealth of knowledge into Dewynters about how to create for the user not the client, and back up this way of working through data.I have been to events as the face of digital design of Dewynters to present our way of creating brands. Working closely with Art Directors has taught me how to look across every path a brand will take and create a cohesive voice, one that resonates with our audience. The fast-paced environment has meant that my speed and efficiency have improved exponentially. I find myself working on 4 to 5 different projects a day and advising on more with the team I guide. I enjoy this a lot, but there never seems to be enough hours in the day, am I right?

I started at Dewynters as a Digital Design, with focus on website design and video animation backup. My role quickly evolved into client facing designer, and a more integral position in web design. I also kept my role in video production, specifically Animation. I worked on social media content as well a big out door productions for West End live, Piccadilly Circus and Waterloo/Euston station.During this time, I took on pitch work and won with many clients expressing their surprise at both my knowledge of design and understanding of data and its uses in influenceing design.

My role at Squiz varies between an Animator (Director/Producer/Lead) to Digital Designer (Middleweight), in their London Office. Before I joined Squiz there were no animation services. I worked along with the Managing Director to provide this service to our clients. We had success too, with IFL being our first client to take up the service. I have also taken on the role of Digital Designer, which has been a whole new experience and learning curb for myself. I have progressed quickly and have been able to become a Middle-weight designer at Squiz. This has given me the opportunity to present to clients, giving me valuable experience. I have also been able to dip my toes into UX and how to think more about how to give the best possible experience to a user.I have had many success at squiz. Introducing and selling Animation Services is one of the biggest, but also learning web design and coding. Which has meant I have been able to create unique, engaging and interactive experiences - on many platforms.

Assistant Animator to Tom Jobbins. I had the opportunity to work with Tom Jobbins on his graduation film "My Face is in Space". I worked on a variety of areas such as character animation, stop-motion, set design and camera work. This was a great experience for me as I got to learn new skills and approaches to animation, story telling and film making.
