Hi, Luke here, Director at JXC Group. Nothing frustrates me more than when I speak with Developers frustrated and disappointed with the outcomes of the delivery process and completion of the vision they have worked so hard to create. Having delivered over $1.5B in construction projects, I have experienced the heartache which can be encountered when creating something to meet the needs of the community. I have come to understand there are three key frustrations experienced on a project:1. Planning: anticipated durations and the time frames associated with delivery are mis-understood… greatly impacting expectations around delivery and operations;2. Scope: the project WHY has not been communicated sufficiently to the wider delivery team or is lost throughout the process leading to late changes resulting in increased costs; and 3. Quality: even when planning and scoping has gone to plan, the quality of delivery has slipped, often at the final stage of the project. To overcome these frustrations, at JXC we have developed a detailed delivery framework which relies on constant and transparent communication founded on respect, an uncompromising development and understanding of scope with agreed and tangible focus areas for the project. We believe that the journey of creating a lasting product for the community is something that should be enjoyed.
