A member of the senior leadership team with accountability for the delivery of IT services to Canon Australia.- Due to historical poor investment in IT, Canon’s IT group was not able to deliver stable and dependable services to the business. I successfully outsourced infrastructure services to achieve an increase in service levels to the business and a stabilisation of the core infrastructure platforms. Service levels and customer satisfaction increased dramatically. - Merged Canon Australia and Canon New Zealand IT teams, reducing NZ IT costs by 15%. This also resulted in an increase of internal customer satisfaction of IT services by 22% within 3 months.- Managed the technology program to retire legacy IT infrastructure and implement a standardised Microsoft platform. This was a key change to allow for effective outsourcing.- Established an integration platform to reduce Canon’s reliance on the legacy Oracle platform to drive business agility and reduce IT costs.
