Suntory own some of the UK’s biggest soft drink brands including Lucozade, Ribena and Orangina. I have the responsibility of building the Total Strategy and driving the profitablility of our Vending & Cooler asset estate in conjunction with our customer and channel strategies.

Managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to deliver the GB Route to Market, Impulse & Health & Fitness & Food Service strategy. This role spans the North of England & Scotland.

Managing wholesale and cash and carry customers including Bestway Group, Booker Group and Today's, Landmark, Sugro and Confex buying group members. This role also involved central ordering responsibility for Parfetts group.

My role involved managing customers in Leisure, Higher Education and Health & Fitness sub channels; managing a number of regional accounts and independent outlets working with key decision makers to grow their total soft drinks sales. This included identifying and capturing new business opportunities across my territory.

Growing accounts in the Top Four grocers (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA and Morrison’s) by establishing strong working relationships with Store Managers/Key decision makers, focusing on meeting and exceeding their expectations in terms of product and service, with a 'hands on' approach where necessary. I also took on the role of Sainsbury's Account Champion liaising with account teams to lead and drive change at a national level.

I was responsible for delivering an ever-improving shopping experience for customers and accountable for the entire dry goods operation, including the grocery, beers, wines & spirits, frozen goods and health & beauty sections.
