CNC machines (Laser and brake) preventative maintenance, scheduling, tooling and troubleshooting.Process development and improvements in scheduling, parts flow and CNC programming.

Lean process implementation in manufacturing. One piece flow development, planning and controlling WIP in the process, reducing wastes and organizing floor plan layout to achieve all of the above.

All engineering duties (new product design to existing product support) for outdoor wood burning furnaces. Worked with team in developing a new product, outdoor biomass furnace. Challenges included- selecting the right drive system (motors and gearboxes) to drive the various augers on the unit- designing the right fan/blower that would give the required CFM and withstand the high temps- getting the PLC system to work for the unit taking into account various failsafe scenarios

A CAD/PLM designer/onsite liaison, located at the customer’s site, providing PLM and CAD design services onsite and coordinating design and analysis projects between the customer and an offshore team in IndiaKey projects included- Creation and maintenance of a library of reusable components like fasteners and fittings to be used with Teamcenter and Unigraphics NX- Developing part conversion kits for various compressor machine options for customer aftermarket orders. Tools used to process orders are Teamcenter and JD Edwards- Design engineering support for piping layouts, structural part designs like frames and enclosures and drawing creation like weldments, P&ID's and assembly views using Teamcenter and Unigraphics NX.

Lead member of a CFD analysis team that catered to a wide range of clients from the automobile, aerospace, industrial, semiconductor and energy domains.Key projects includedA CFD flow analysis on an automobile HVAC system which consists of a blower, evaporator, heater and various flow paths.- A dynamic mesh CFD analysis was performed to determine the volumetric flow rate through a lobe pump.

Part of a team involved in Flow Assurance for Subsea productions systems, using computational and numerical methods of fluid dynamics and heat transfer.

Part of a team involved in Thermal Systems and Power Plant Accessories. Work involves using Computational and Numerical Fluid Dynamics as an aid to improve existing designs for GE's Gas Turbine Power Plant Accesory systems.
