As a private consultant, I have supported the Bank by carrying out program impact assessments for several policy loans to governments in emerging markets.

I taught the Modelling Risk and Prices course as part of the Masters of Applied Finance.

In this position, I directed a wide range of quantitative support functions for institutional equities. My work involved managing database specialists, conducting bespoke quantitative analysis of market developments for brokers, and model testing for the equity derivatives team.

I was responsible for quantitative aspects of the market risk management process, such as transaction and new product approvals. I supervised a team of approximately six technical professionals. During my tenure, I also completed major projects in policy development, systems design upgrades, and model validation.

My various roles at the RBA included Head of Balance of Payments and Head of Prices, Wages and Labour Markets. In these roles I supported the monetary policy process by directing a team in forecasting economic variables and initiating technical research. I was also Economist in the Research Department and Senior Economist in the System Stability.
