About Luke Hemer

I’m a photographer with over 17 years experience in the media industry. I have worked for newspapers/websites and freelanced for various publications and sports organisations such as Tennis Australia, New Balance and the Stawell Gift. Studying for three years I completed a Certificate Two in Creative Photography and an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography. A photographer with the McPherson Media Group creating images for their newspapers, magazines and online content. I previously worked as a photo editor for PERFORM group in Melbourne, after 7 years with News Corp Australia as a photographer and deputy photo editor in the Messenger Community Papers Group. I’m available to photograph sports, events and news coverage.
