Served as lead attorney for all public corruption cases referred to the Attorney General. I managed a team of three employees to seek civil recovery of all tax dollars and public funds that were misappropriated, diverted, or unaccounted for by public officers in their roles within state and local government. During my time in this role, we were able to recover over $2 million in public funds for the State of Indiana and various agencies and obtained judgments totaling over $4 million. We represented the state and various local governmental entities in all 92 counties and worked in conjunction with local county prosecutors in their efforts to pursue and investigate any criminal violations associated with the corruption allegations. Prior to that, I managed bankruptcy collections for all state agencies. I streamlined the intake and response processes for the state's handling of bankruptcy claims, resulting in reduced response time and a lower rate of error or missed files. I also worked to facilitate discussion with debtors' counsel and local trustees to resolve outstanding debts quickly and efficiently and at lowest cost to the state and its taxpayers.
