Duties:• Manage team of Art Directors for each brand title• Oversee design of each brand title to ensure consistency and quality• Ensure that all press deadlines are met• Execute and management of company collateral design and sales documents (PDF forms, Contacts, Sales kits, etc)• When necessary, assist in design and/or troubleshooting of each brand title• Work directly with sales teams and Art Directors for ad placement and to allow the best sales opportunitiesOC Register Metro & OC Register magazine:• Cover concept, layout and design; Including photo shoot coordination and selection• Cover-to-cover layout design of all editorial pages, including photo selection (Stock, supplied and/or photo shoot)• Design and layout of all sales directory/added-value pages (Advertorials)• Concept and coordinate photo shoots with freelance photographers• Work directly with editors to complete editorial layouts.• Paginate magazine and manage ad placements. Including organizing and processing all sales run sheets.• Process all camera-ready ads to check ad specs, quality, color spaces, etc.• Occasionally build ads and complete ad revisions, when necessary to meet deadlines• Occasionally shoot photography (Covers and editorial)Additional duties:• Build brand identity for magazine related events• Build, maintain and troubleshoot sales force run sheets in excel.
