Not -JUST- another 20-something.Despite the stereotypes about engineers, I love connecting with others and helping them solve issues – and hopefully, I’m helping to decrease the accessibility barriers to science along the way. Starting as an IT intern while in HS, I moved between industries and roles to find what I enjoyed best: Database and Lab Technician, Tour Guide, QC Analyst, and a role I am currently thriving in – Technical Microscopy Support. I love my job and the unique challenges each day brings. I work with a diverse set of individuals – R&D, Sales, Support, Shipping – to provide answers to our clients around the world so they can focus on what they do best – making breakthrough discoveries.Outside of work, I enjoy aquascaping, gardening, microscopy (just ask my coworkers or roommates), reading, and travelling. I had the opportunity to travel domestically for one of my intern positions and internationally for my current position. I've been to 17 territories and countries, but hoping to expand the list: Austria, Canada, Czechia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Portugal, Panama, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and Vatican City. Any recommendations for countries I can visit without a visa as a dual US/EU citizen?
