As a high school student at Orchard Park High School, I am pursuing my interests in student government, business, and leadership. I am the founder and executive director of Students Protecting Education, a nonprofit organization that empowers students to become leaders and to learn to use their voices to have an impact on their educational communities. I am also currently serving as a District 12 Board Member at New York State Council on Leadership and Student Activities (NYS CLSA), representing the students and schools of my district and planning and organizing activities to develop the leadership abilities of students from across the Empire State.Through my work at Students Protecting Education, I have gained valuable skills in grassroots organizing, nonprofit management, financial management, and communication. I have collaborated with various stakeholders, such as school administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community members, to advocate for student rights, interests, and needs. I have also facilitated workshops, webinars, and events to educate and inspire students on topics such as leadership, civic engagement, social justice, and education policy. I am passionate about creating positive change and fostering a culture of learning, diversity, and inclusion. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team and contribute to the organization's mission and vision.
