About Luke Miller
I began my career in UX with the Wall Street Journal in 2010 after grad school (Chapel Hill). In 2013 I moved on to help form the new Yahoo mobile product office in New York, primarily prototyping and researching for their various media properties. During that same time, I began teaching UX classes at General Assembly and Parsons. In 2015 General Assembly and Grand Central published my first book The Practitioner's Guide to User Experience Design. I left Yahoo for a full time teaching position that would begin in NYC and end in Singapore. An opportunity to Direct UX Design for Nat Geo brought me back to the states. Today I live and teach in Los Angeles, and work remotely for National Geographic Society in Washington, DC.
