I was hired as the second member of a dedicated team that manages FX risk firm wide. I have been excited to be a part of the growth of the team in terms of capability, assets ($177B in FX exposure management and $2.8B in cash management), and account coverage (over 500 mandates across FX and cash management). Over my tenure the FX team grew into the Investment Treasury team, and I was promoted to Vice President in the summer of 2021.On the FX side, I oversaw daily hedging activities and exposure management. On the rates side, I managed investments in T-bills using a RV process I built out from a conceptual excel spreadsheet into an automated process using Python. Additionally, I have delivered on strategic objectives aimed at optimizing FX workflow, reducing operational risk, and improving trading decisions.

At SSGM Currency Management I covered analytics and client performance reporting. The role entailed producing and explaining periodic performance reporting as well as answering ad-hoc queries relative to the FX overlay program. Perhaps my biggest contribution came thru my project work, as I automated several data intensive and time-consuming processes through programming to significantly reduce report processing time and reporting risk. I was promoted to Vice President in the 2018.

My time in the Debt/Asset Management office at Harvard focused on project work. I ran the central bank multi-year cash flow model for annual University financial planning process in 2014, and I spearheaded the efforts for annual tax-exempt debt compliance. Outside of project work I had the opportunity to present bank cash flow positioning, risk analysis, and investment performance reports to the university CFO.

I covered the domestic small cap equity space at LPL Financial for approximately 13,000 advisory clients with over $90B in fee based accounts. In this capacity I gained a deep understanding of the asset class by interviewing over 150 managers while taking qualitative and quantitative deep dives into various investing processes. My biggest accomplishment was the development of a 10-factor quantitative screen that helped identify the most effective and style consistent managers for further consideration on the LPL Fund Recommended List. During my tenure Recommended List performance was strong with, with Analyst Top Pick performing 6.5% over category average performance in 2012. At the tail end of my time with LPL, I also led Tax Aware and Strategic portfolio management teams, which entailed monitoring performance and risk, suggesting manager swaps, and managing the efforts of the other four team members.

I supported the Portfolio Manager with research on targeted companies and industries, created cash flow models, and worked on client presentations. I began as an intern during my time at MIT Sloan but stayed on into the school year

At STV I was able to hit the ground running and immediately apply concepts I learned as an undergrad at UMass Amherst as a Structural Engineer. My most noteworthy accomplishment was my design work as lead engineer on a $213M Chicago Transit Authority Tunnel (a project that garnered national attention and an Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering).
