I oversee the organisation and delivery of the annual undergraduate admissions exercise, as well as the College's access, outreach and student recruitment programmes. I also support shaping the College’s strategy with regards to equality and diversity.

Alongside leading the College's outreach and student recruitment programme, I work on several internal projects to support students' progression throughout their degrees and coordinating the College's Careers Support Programme.

As the College seeks to expand its outreach and access provision, I have taken on the role of Student Recruitment Manager and Data Analyst, to place more focus on the planning, targeting and evaluation of our access work. I manage the Access Coordinator who is responsible for hosting schools and colleges to St Edmund Hall, as well as making visits to schools in our link regions.Using my scientific background, I will be taking a data-driven approach to not only our outreach work, but also through looking at our current student body, ensuring that we can maximise student success at the College.

I lead the College’s outreach and access programmes. This involves working with schools and colleges in St Edmund Hall’s link areas: Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Leicester, Leicestershire, Peterborough, Portsmouth, Rutland and Southampton. I regularly travel to visit schools in these areas, and host visits to Oxford from schools, colleges and individual prospective applicants.I also organise and host the College's Open Days in June and September, as well as an annual residential workshop for students in Year 12. In 2016, I organised and ran St Edmund Hall's first Outreach Roadshow, where, I visited several schools and colleges within our link areas with four Student Ambassadors over a week. I have secured additional funding to increase the reach of this roadshow for a further five years.I work with the Communications Manager to contribute to and expand the College's social media presence, and have produced videos for the college as an extenuation of my role. Additionally, I run the College’s Student Ambassador scheme, and can provide training, materials, and support to any current students who wish to speak at their former schools about Oxford, Oxbridge or other university applications.

My primary role was to deliver sessions to high school, FE college and mature Access students at local high schools and colleges, specifically from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Sessions ranged from Post-14 options for Year 9 Students, through to sessions for UCAS personal statements and interview skills. Additional roles included: Representing the University at stands at HE Fairs in schools and colleges; Hosting campus visit days for school students; Providing admin support including database handling and presentation design; Interviewing and assessing applications of students applying to WP-run schemes (e.g. Student Ambassador, Students in Classrooms, etc.)
