Communications Officer at Rushcliffe Borough Council. Work across a range of areas such as internal and external comms, alongside the capture and production of video and photo based content.Previously held the role of Media Officer for Port Vale Football Club. Oversaw social media, marketing and communications for all aspects of the club including first team, academy, foundation, women and commercial. I worked as the Media Assistant at Port Vale FC from July 2019 until April 2021 as an intern alongside my Sports Journalism course at Staffordshire University where I graduated with a First Class Degree.In August 2021 I was appointed as Assistant Media Officer at Port Vale and was promoted to Media Officer in March 2022, a role held until December 2022 which was brought to an end due to redundancy following departmental restructuring. I took an active role in the output on our social media channels and internal communications, working match days and across all club media duties throughout the week. Headed up the creative video output for the club, creating content for TikTok, YouTube and the social channels.Host the Funny Old Game podcast and formerly hosted the Treble Talk podcast and the Insert Name Here Podcast.I also hold a passion for presenting and working in radio and broadcasting.Examples of work can be shared upon request.
