    In the summer of 2014 I put my career on hold and packed up my family for a great adventure. On June 20th, 2014 I left San Diego and rode my bicycle from San Diego to Portland and then on to New York City. Project milestones include: - Raised over $100k for malnourished children in South Sudan. - Secured over a dozen corporate sponsors including Xero and Shimano. - Developed Cycle Cause brand and implemented public awareness campaign. - Raised cause awareness with press from Huffington Post, Orange County Register, Channel 6 San Diego, LA Parent and LOCALE Magazine. - Rode 4170 miles solo in 58 days. The purpose was to raise awareness and money for children dying from Severe Acute Malnutrition and leave a legacy of hope.
