I lead a team of educators in delivering a high impact, wilderness-based, leadership development program that brings together selected members of both the Israeli and Palestinian communities. Participants are emerging leaders in various fields such as business, politics, religion, education, and non-profit enterprise.

American Explorers is a new program created with the help of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. The vision is a growing stream of young men and women with the courage, skill, and compassion to lead communities toward a brighter, healthier future. The centerpiece of the program is a 3-week, expedition-based summer experience that includes mountain backpacking, rock climbing, and whitewater canoeing. Following the summer, students will continue to develop their skills in their home communities as part of a four-year journey designed to prepare students to succeed in college, career and life.

The Henderson International School is a private K-12 school located in Henderson, Nevada, wholly owned by Meritas, LLC.

Shackleton Schools, Inc. was a Boston-based, non-profit educational venture focused on inspiring and educating young people to become leaders, educators, community builders, entrepreneurs, and stewards of the earth. Our Expedition High School launched in January 1998 and continued until June of 2006. The four-year leadership curriculum involved extended learning expeditions involving travel to remote locations.
