Director Of Photography | Executive Producer

Every client is different. Some desire you to tell a very basic story, with a new twist. Others ask you to portray a deep, personal story in a way which respects the subject but also moves an audience. But the same common goal runs through all of my productions: a desire to inspire those viewing my productions and producing materials which meet my client’s goals. Sometimes, as an independent freelance filmmaker, I am pushed out of my comfort zone into new situations, or even countries, as I search to tell a visual story for a client. These experiences have molded me into a versatile filmmaker, adept at traveling and adapting to new environments. I aspire to tell stories from a firsthand point of view, with the comfort of the client as my main priority. My clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies such as JetBlue and 21 Century Fox to global nonprofits to corporate social responsibility work with National Geographic Partners and other household brand names. My freelancing has also allowed me to pursue my passion of editorial and documentary work. My media has been published in a number of mediums and platforms including: The New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal ("Money Matters") Narratively, Quincy College, Bryant Park, Let's Share The Sun Foundation.

Filmmaker

As the 2016 presidential race was heating up, I realized it was not enough for me to read the newspaper and merely hope for a future. I recognized what was a historical time in our nation's story. A story I was not willing to sit back and watch develop. It was time I joined the fight with my most powerful voice -- my camera. I joined Hillary Clinton's campaign in July of 2016, and worked as the Filmmaker for Ohio. There, I was responsible for producing and editing every video published on "Hillary for Ohio's social media pages. As I quickly learned, they don't call Ohio a battleground state for nothing. We worked nonstop, and utilized digital narratives as our tools. Over the course of the campaign, I produced 34 videos, including vignettes and short documentaries. With the support - and appreciation - of countless Ohioans, I produced pieces telling their everyday stories. I told the story of Stan, a truck driver, and Jackie, the owner of a small coffee shop, and Brian, a union worker from outside of Dayton. All of these stories, diverse and beautiful in their own ways, had a common bond; they all believed in Hillary Clinton, and the promises she made to America. Despite the outcome on Nov. 8, my experience in Ohio proved that stories have the power to change hearts. Raw, honest, and compelling narratives can spark a passion in viewers on either side of the aisle -- as emotions resonate with every heart.

Co Founder | Executive Producer

Flex Collective

Flex Collective started as two high schoolers with a dream. This dream, together with our desire to share our creative abilities with others, lead to the creation of a commercial video production company.Flex Collective specialized in corporate promotions, as well as branded documentaries. My experiences as a Co-Founder lead me all over the country, developing promotional materials for a variety of clients. Our company worked with clients of all shapes and sizes, with varying needs. No matter how different these clients might have been, our common goal of delivering strong visual content ran through every piece we ultimately developed. Flex Collective also served as a rental service for the East Coast, after the purchase of a RED Epic cinema camera in 2013. From 2013-2015, the RED Rental Program allowed for individuals or organizations to rent this camera under Flex. Flex Collective’s creative ability is most accurately shown through our Timeless Artisans pieces, as well as a SPEC Commercial for Coca-Cola. More specifically, the Coca-Cola commercial tells the story of a grandfather and grandson, sharing the bond the product creates while restoring an old mustang in a Kansas barn. This experience provided us with a number of challenges, but ultimately resulted in a piece which went viral.
