We work in support of the vessel planning managers (String Managers) in Copenhagen, and exporting countries to ensure that the right tonnage is deployed, the market rates reflect reality, and that sales at origin are empowered with knowledge enough to sell a service to West Africa. Work in a project team to align branch level processes to a national standard. Conduct process audits on multiple branches (6 locations) and across diverse teams. Ensure adequate focus is given the change management to esure 100% adoption.

Move onsite to becom the liason between Safmarine and a Key account (UTi). Establish processes and grow the position to a 4 man team.

Establish a commodity trading desk to leverage the availability of empty containers returning to the Far East from South Africa. Grow this position from moving 0 tonnes of chrome ore to the Far East to consistently delivering 30000 tonnes a week.

I worked in the start up phase of a rapid deployment customer service team that would empower teams to serve their customers better. In addition I co facilitated national workshops training customer service agents to ensure that every time a customer interacts with Safmarine they leave satisfied.
