Luke tackled this monumental task head-on with admirable skill and genuine enthusiasm, and proceeded to develop wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and visual assets on extremely tight schedules without ever sacrificing quality or losing sight of our product goals. Thanks to Luke’s efforts and contributions, Naked’s first customers’ product experience was seamless, intuitive, and anticipated almost every need right out of the box. As a natural collaborator, Luke worked closely with all our teams and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality app and hardware interaction. His willingness to go the extra mile extended to all parts of his work, whether he was traveling to Argentina to perfect our interface development with an external agency, or pivoting between marketing, engineering, design, and our executive team to communicate and unite our interaction and user interface designs. Luke’s dedication to improving the general user experience stretches beyond the limitations of work: just as he’s willing to learn Xcode to improve our app, he was also committed to improving our workplace environment by spearheading brunch/lunch setups and kitchen gadgetry (avocado toast with perfectly soft boiled eggs, anyone?). I highly recommend Luke as both a talented Product Designer and an excellent teammate: his efforts and talent would easily elevate any product or endeavor at hand.", "Luke is a designer that always keeps customer experience at the forefront. While working with Luke at Naked Labs, I got to see first hand his keen eye for detail and desire to make the most intuitive and best possible product design for our customers. His designs sometimes went beyond what our teams could feasibly implement in the timelines we were given and though he was firm about what he was trying to achieve, he showed great flexibility and willingness to compromise with our engineering team. During grooming sessions, he would try to work with the team to find ways to simplify or develop reusable design patterns that could make implementation easier. When we were at crunch time, Luke took it upon himself to both travel to our remote team's locations (two separate trips to Argentina and Barcelona) to work directly with our mobile developers AND learn how to set up an iOS environment to help review and implement copy changes to boot! Luke also always has an eye towards the future and spent time not only thinking about useful new features for our customers, but also helping spec out and wireframe features that could lead our product to the next generation.
